Coral Reef

My little Coral Reef.
There's 11 different types of coral (montipora, hystrix, favites, favia, open brain, gorgonian, fungia, lobophylia, trachyphylia, and 2 i can't remember the names of) I haven't added any fish(for now), as the focus was the reef and the corals. plus the images are for Turbosquid and the asset doesn't include any fish.

I combined several of my older models to create this asset. Using a 3d scanned piece of coraline and algae encrusted Fiji reef rock, a few corals i made for this project and several that i made ages ago.
for the newer corals (monti, hystrix, favites) i created some tile-able coral materials using some reference images and B2M by Allegorithmic. i then textured them using these materials in Substance Painter. The older corals were textured in photoshop.
